Summer Camps
Edge Summer Camps is designed for athletes who want to use their summer efficiently to improve their skills to help them reach their goals (club tryouts, high school tryouts, etc.). Our camps allow your athlete to be coached and evaluated by our staff while also learning knew skills to help distinguish your athlete in upcoming tryouts. All camps will be held at Wesley Memorial Methodist Church on at 6100 Memorial Hwy, Tampa, Florida 33615. The Invite Only Middle School Camp is a high-level and intense volleyball camp for those who have caught the eye of our Edge coaches and to help those prepare for nationals and upcoming tryouts. Only 30 athletes will be allowed at the camp. If you believe your athlete should be invited please send video to coachkensie@edgevbtraining.comThe camp is designed to be intensive, with a focus on developing advanced skills, as well as honing in on your athlete's overall game strategy and tactics. We will incorporate video analysis, small-group drills, game-like situations, and as always with Edge, personalized and individualized feedback to help players improve their technique and game awareness. Preference is given to athletes who have been training at Edge.

Evaluations and Summer Plan Included In This Camp
This 2 Day Evaluation Clinic aims to address pressing questions like "what's next?" or "what should we focus on for summer training?" Participants can expect comprehensive training across all positions and gameplay.
However, the standout feature is the personalized written evaluation from Coach Kensie. This assessment will pinpoint areas for improvement based on the athlete's goals outlined at the beginning of the camp, and what training she recommend to help the athlete reach their goals.
A specific positional volleyball camp for Liberos/DS and Pin Hitters designed to provide more in-depth training for serve receive, defensive moves, and hitting. Liberos/DS will work on perfecting their serve receive, learning how to read the hitters more efficiently, emergency defense including sprawls, pancakes and dolphin dives, and how to run the back court. Hitters will work fine-tuning their approach to add inches to their reach, creating more torque in their hits, along with blocking and passing.
Participants will receive personalized instruction and individualized feedback to help them improve their skills and technique in small groups with the same position, then will work on putting their new skills to the test with the other positions.
